A Community Teaching Work Plan Proposal is required for this weeks’ assignment. Use the worksheet attached to the assignment instructions as a guide to organize your plan. This assignment will help to organize your plan for your community presentation (week 5) and create an outline for your teaching experience paper (week 5). See the week 3 assignment rubric for details. Here are a few suggestions when working on the assignment -use the template/worksheet (not a written paper) -needs to be typed, not handwritten -the LopesWrite % will be high – this is ok, it is due to using the template -review the rubric – this is how you will be graded -use what you have learned so far to develop a teaching plan based on the needs of your chosen community Select ONE of the following as your focus: 1) Primary Prevention/ Health Promotion 2) Secondary Prevention / Screenings for a vulnerable population 3) Bioterrorism/ Disaster 4) Environmental Issues ** After completing the teaching proposal, review it with a community health or public health provider in your community. -Ask them for feedback (strengths and opportunities for improvement)
