Non-State Development Importance on Political Stability

Political issues dominate the world today. Describe the concept of nation-state development to explain the importance of political stability on a global basis. Then address the issues of irridentism and supranational organizations to assess current issues facing regional stability today, giving examples of two regions which demonstrate each of these geographical processes. Be sure to define these concepts in your own words and refer to maps in the text which explain the basis for conflict or cooperation in these regions today. Which regions in the world do you think will face conflict and devolution in the next 50 years? Use maps to identify these shatterbelt regions.
