This is Part I of the course intro exercise assignment. Part I is a great way to get to know the business of sport. Part II is a great way to get to know each other (Introduction Video). For Part I, please complete the following exercises and submit a Word document with your answers

A. Access TeamWork Online at www.teamworkonline.com. the main page of the website lists the most recently-posted jobs in sports and live events. Scroll down the list, taking note of job descriptions, qualifications, experience, educational requirements, and salaries. Please select a minimum of two jobs and write down your thoughts on the following: (1) What jobs do you find most interesting and why do those jobs appeal to you? (2) What knowledge and experiences do you think you would need to succeed in these positions? This exercise does not need to be in excess of two (2) pages according to APA guidelines.

B. Since the majority of the students taking this class aren’t sport management majors (but are interested in sports in some capacity), TeamWork Online gives you a good idea of how you could still pursue a sport-themed job that is related to your chosen field of study:

After reviewing this list of careers (this is just a guide to help you brainstorm), please give TWO examples of sport-related positions that you could be qualified to do after you graduate from Drexel with your current major. Please explain why. This assignment (both A and B combined) does not need to be in excess of two (2) pages according to APA guidelines. Finally, when submitting your Word document, your file should be titled – “Your Last Name 110 Week 1 Assignment.” For example, If I were a student with the last name of Smith, it would be titled: Smith 110 Week 1 Assignment.docx.
