Art Activity 4: 3D Media & Design Choose one (1) of the following activities and complete: Regardless of which type of artwork you choose to create, you are to also submit an artist’s statement along with your picture. The easiest way to submit this is to include the picture of your artwork in a word doc. Option 1 – Architecture Create preliminary designs for an architectural structure. Remember that architecture is varied and may be created in many different styles & shapes & for many different purposes. Your design may be in the form of a floor plan diagram (with labels) or a drawing of an exterior elevation/ façade of a structure. Once you’ve created your design, take a picture of it an upload it to Moodle in a Word doc which also describes your rationale & process. Option 2 – Design You are to create a design. It may be any type of design such as a design for furniture or jewelry, cars, or other object design. In addition you may choose to do a graphic design for a logo or business. You might also be interested in fashion design or interior design. Any of these types of design may be included. You may use computer software to create your design or submit a picture of a hand drawing of your design or a combination of the two. Once you have chosen which of the 3 options you will do, you must upload your photograph to Moodle. The File is to be saved as: YOUR NAME, then Art Activity Number (e.g. JOHN SMITH – Art Activity 4).
