BOOM, the moment I walked into “Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics” honey, lavender, and vanilla amongst other aromas invaded my nostrils which made my nose prance for joy. My eyes began to dilate when I saw the bright pinks, oranges, purples and vibrant yellows. The moment I entered the doors, not only was my nose amplified but, I visually intrigued. These aromas make me want to take a bar of soap and eat it, if you think I’m lying try walking in the store. They are so authentic that they sell their products with cartoon illatrations and name of the person who prepared the product. Other companies don’t share pride in their team members. Lush uses naked packaging, which is 100% recyclable as well as biodegradable bags. They also are earth friendly because they’ve been trying to recycle ocean plastic and use it in their packaging, which is looking pretty good but they haven’t perfected yet.  It makes me feel excited because they actually care about the enviroment the way I do.

I love the Bath Bombs, they have so many different colors to choose from and each with its own unique fragrance and some even have glitter. They have one of the pressed conditioners (bar form) that soften your hair and give it alot shine and bounce.  They also have henna hair dyes that are natural and don’t have any harsh chemicals. They don’t stop there though; bad breath no more. Their oral care line is amazing and will have customer’s smiling all day knowing that your teeth are naturally whiten.

Facial cleansers, scrubs, moisturizers, toners, mask, make-up, lip care and shaving for all skin types. Whatever your looking for they have it covered. Not to mention if you’re in a rush to get the perfect gift for any age or gender this is your place. They already have gifts wrapped in colorful prints and ribbons ready to go for any occasion (no brain works here). This is an awesome place to come with your family.

Lastly, Lush donates to many different organizations that support human rights, environmental justices and they are against animal welfare through their program called “Charity Pot”. They don’t discriminate about your sex, race, gender, or spiritual orientation. They believe a person is a person. When buying from them, it’s piece of mind knowing they don’t overwork their employees or use unethical practices such as child labor. Also, they practice environmental justice such as recycling plastics and planting new plants and trees. They enjoy protecting sweet little animals and are against torturing them for human experiments. They donate money and products to many different organizations only if they meet certain criteria. They will not donate to groups that deny human rights or promote violence. They also lend a hand to help over 400,000 students and about 530 schools with trash free lunches through a program ran by Grades of Green to reduce trash in the world.

They don’t know the back story on how they give back to thier community, that all their products are natural, and have they have a variety of products for every age and gender.
