Papers must be submitted as either a .doc, .docx, or .pdf. Make sure your paper is in APA format, that you are citing appropriately, and that you are using in-text citations. Below comes directly from the syllabus: The final paper will be very open ended, but in a different way than the midterm paper. For your final paper the topic you write about will be given to you (as opposed to the choices in the midterm), but the topic will have so many ways to answer it. You will answer this question: Using the topics we have discussed in the class and outside research, what is peer pressure and why does it exist? Discuss how to minimize/reduce/eliminate it. You may discuss bullying in this analysis, as it relates to peer pressure. Like the midterm paper, this paper requires 5 references minimum, and you may use your textbook as one of the five. This paper should be a minimum of 5 pages double spaced, not including title and reference pages. An abstract page is not required (if you want practice writing one, please do – but it does not count towards the page requirement). There is no maximum page length, I will read a 20 page paper if someone wanted to write that much. Size 12 font, 1 inch margins, a normal font please. APA format as well. NOTE this paper requires one more page than the midterm paper. 75% of your grade will be for the topics you choose to discuss. I will be looking for you to critically think about each topic you write and building your own stance with support from research. Your writing should show mastery of the subject, be clear and direct, and have a high level of thoughtfulness and application. 25% will be based off format. Meet the page requirement, APA format, font/margins etc. Have a title page/references. Be sure to have in text citations where appropriate.
