1. Why do you want to be a nurse?

my whole life is a search for my place in this world since childhood, I remember going through professions in my mind and thinking all over who I want to become with no luck. a year ago I was in the hospital / my first child was due to be born / I was beside myself with fear. my husband was late and at the highest moment of my despair came the nurse just shook my hand and smiled and the most amazing thing was that this simple gesture of empathy and support turned everything upside down for me / Her emphaty, support and kindness literaly saved me. That day not only became the most important and beautiful for me in my life becouse I gave  birth to my son, but also opened my eyes to the fact that in the world of medicine there is such a wonderful profession as a nurse.      The feeling of gratitude and sincere admiration for the nurses grew in me into a desire to become part of this medical society.   Every day my confidence in the future profession grew stronger   and as soon as I recovered from my birth I applied to college.  after all, what could be finer to give people hope, to help fool a helping hand in difficult times.

With this program I hope one day I will be a realy good specialist better person and proudly say Im a nurse

2. What do you think would be some of your most difficult challenges during the nursing program?

overcome fears

the hardest thing for me in any endeavor is to overcome my fear  I’m afraid to make mistakes I’m afraid not to live up to my expectations,

I’m afraid to be ridiculed by colleagues for the imperfection of the language and a strong accent, but the most I’m afraid to hurt anyone. Life is precious.

I am a perfectionist by nature and I will strive to improve every step I take  practice techniques and skills repeat

fear of failure is my main enemy because it makes me hesitate in decision making  but also fear of failure my friend  he makes informed and deliberate decisions double-check information

Another challenge during the nursing program will be to deal with such amount new information, absorb it quickly, learn a lot of new medicine words.

3. How do you plan to overcome the challenges identified in question two?

I concentrate on performing smaller tasks and then evaluate the whole work

you can also divide the task into several small steps and pay attention to each step, this helps to avoid excessive emotionality and concentrate more directly on the work or task itself than on my emotions and feelings.

To deal with excessive amount information I will use special technics. I’ve read a lot about assosiative chain to learn more. To repeat often what you’ve just learnt. To draw

scheme.

Also to be successful at study is to manage time and organize daily routine.

I concentrate on my goal – to be nurse practitioner one day
