The purpose of this assignment is to develop a classroom management plan for a Kindergarten classroom, designed to demonstrate how you can create an effective, structured and safe learning environment, establish routines, rules, consequences, and to hold students accountable for learning and behavior. While a classroom management plan should flexible, being revised as new situations are experienced, it should be comprehensive, outlining the organization, structure and expectations for your class as well as addressing safety issues. The classroom management plan should be practical and applicable for the grade level you desire to teach. Your plan should be well organized, easy to follow and understand, and thoroughly address all of the following components, discuss the expectations, policies and procedures for each. Identify a grade level, and provide an explanation for the each of the following areas. Classroom Procedures and Routines • General classroom rules • Entering and leaving the classroom or participation area • Moving around the classroom during instruction and/or demonstration • Distributing and collecting equipment • Drinking water, restroom, breaks, etc. • Greetings/dismissal • Attendance Classroom Physical Environment • Classroom organization, layout or formations with rationale • Discuss expectations for various areas used (courts, grass, gym, etc.) Student Management • Classroom behavior and expectations • Student discipline procedures Parental Involvement • Welcome letter • Ongoing communication • Volunteers Teaching Practices • Positive reinforcement • Participation expectations (group work, asking for help, asking/answering questions) • Key instructional phrases • Transitions Your classroom management plan is assessed based on the clarity, thoroughness, and application of your response to all sections, demonstrating an in depth understanding of classroom management  Must include: Classroom Procedures and Routines, Classroom Physical Environment ,Student Management, Parental Involvement,Teaching Practices
