With respect to your knowledge of the various types of Sampling Methods, please present discussion
and explanation as to the following Data Collection Methods: Non-Probability and Probabilitybased Methods for collecting a Sample from a Population – Using the following suggested
Headings:
Data Collection Methods – Non-Probability v. Probability-based
❑ Please provide descriptions and explanation as to the difference between Non-Probability and Probability
Methods
Using a Probability-based Method
❑ Please discuss how would you collect a Sample to ensure it was a Probability-based method
❑ Please specify the Sampling Method(s) would you use, and how would you employ it (them)

10 Points
*Your Evaluation will based on measurable criteria (e.g., numerical continuum—from Exemplary to Failure
for Critical Thinking work; alphabetical scoring—from A to F Scale for Exams, etc.) that provide evidence as to
your consistently (or inconsistently) achieving (or failing to achieve) specific academic competencies outlined
within the learning objectives. In particular, Case Analyses, Essay responses, all Written Reports, and
Verbal Discussion will be sources (i.e., Learning Events), from which Critical Thinking will be assessed, as
part of Grading Criteria.
