➢ Expertly repaired over 800 aircraft structural components, in over 13,000 man-hours during an arduous
deployment in support of combat operations.
➢ While serving on the In-port Emergency Team, displayed unrelenting courage and dedication by arriving first on
the scene of an on-board fire that lasted 45 minutes. Credited with significantly contributing to the preventing of
personal casualties and more significant property damage.
➢ Spearheaded the ships preparation and refurbishment effort of 50 AFFF Stations, 400 watertight doors and hatches
and 850 pieces of damage control equipment. This effort directly resulting in a $90,000-dollar savings in contactor
fees.
