The Abstract may contain description of the topic, need of the present study, important
applications of the topic, brief description about previous literatures, predesign, future
work to be carried out in Technical Project and conclusions. The word count is limited to
250.
Chapter 1: Introduction
The introduction may contain overall view of the topic, Identification of the need, Problem
description, Objectives, Scope, Value & Importance of the research and feasibility study.
You may provide introduction to the research problems pertaining to the project with detailed
explanation.
Chapter 2: Literature review
You are expected to critically evaluate minimum of five previous literatures pertaining to their
project topic that contain key finding of previous authors such as methodology adopted,
parameters used, results obtained and important conclusions along with shortcomings / gap
areas. This chapter should precisely link the present study to the collected literature with gap
areas identified. Finally, a chapter summary may be presented.
Chapter 3: Data Analysis / Pre-Design
You may provide statistical tools planned to use in Technical Project (TP), 2-D, 3-D
drawings, Proposed model/ circuit diagram, other data interpretations using graphs,
surveys results, case studies, research plans, activity flow charts, Gantt charts etc. The
outcome of this chapter would be useful to do the experimentation, fabrication and
associated detailed analysis of the research problem during TP stage. Finally a chapter
summary may be presented.
Conclusion & Future work:
The conclusion made in the report should correlate with the aims and objectives of the
project.
Future works planned for Technical Project stage are to be mentioned.
CHAPTER 2 LITERATURE REVIEW )
– Main Heading: Arial Bold, size 12 (e.g. 2.1 Solar System)

– The title of each chapter will be designated by Numeric like CHAPTER 1, CHAPTER

• The problem is the lack of electricity permanently in some circumstances,
which causes the inability to charge the mobile phones which causes some
interruptions when it comes to communication.
• To reduce the consumption of electricity and encourage the use of freely
available sources of renewable energy like solar energy sources as solar
energy.
4. Aim: (the main goal, solution to the problem)
To design an electric circuit for the purpose of wireless mobile charger by
using solar energy
5. Objectives (steps to be conducted to achieve the aim):
• Review and Research different similar system of different part in world
and make use of their experience.
• Prepare and collect all data needed and component to Design the solar
powered mobile phone & structure for the application.
• To carry out a design calculation so as to ascertain the duration for which the
rechargeable battery will charge the mobile phone.
• Test the functionality and user-friendliness of the finished product and
improve accordingly.
• Deploy the product and gather feedback for future reference, updates, and
extensibility.

6. Description of the Technical Project idea, research problem, proposed
solution and methodology (limited to 100 words)
In this project, the aim is to design charging smart phones by convert solar energy into electric
power energy to make use of the widely available sources of renewable energy like solar energy.
This product will help in overcoming the lack of electricity in some circumstances especially in
rural areas, which causes the inability to charge the mobile phones Hence, the users will not be
able to communicate services, and perform their tasks at work.
This product will help consumer charge their phone any time without worrying about power
outages because this project mainly depends on the solar energy that is widely available every day.
Even at night, this product can be used because it has the capability of storing energy by the use
of batteries and the possibility of using it in times of absence of solar energy.
Note that the solar cell that is going to be used is of 6 Volts which is capable of producing 9
Watts, note that the cables will not be more than 6 Watts which is the maximum rating of a
mobile charger, suitable arrangement will be made to regulate the voltage of the circuit with the
help of power electronics devices like buck/boost converters. However, if the wireless technogly
is to be applied the rating will be shifted to 20 W range.
7. Innovation( What is new in the selected topic)
The innovative feature of this project is the possibility of involving wireless chargers’ technology,
within the use of solar cells to provide user friendly features with lower consumptions and costs.
