What is a null hypothesis?
What is an alternative hypothesis?
Then articulate a null hypothesis and alternative hypothesis for a research study that pertains to your area of specialization.
What conclusions can be drawn from this study with a “statistically significant” result? The null hypothesis is the the belief that the tested population is equivalent to all variables being tested
or scored in the dataset. The purpose of the Null Hypothesis is to test the hypothesis is prove if it is true
or invalided. The publication of research frequently states the null hypothesis that is incorrect and then
seeks to reject that null hypothesis (Warner, 2013)
Alternative or research hypothesis is the hypothesis that represents an outcome is different from the
one specified in the null hypothesis which is also known as the H1. (Warner, 2013) This means that the
component variables do actually, change the outcome of the distribution curve.
My research study topic that pertains to my specialization is child and adolescent misbehaviors stem
from their environmental background. Children /adolescents behaviors are solely based on their
hereditary background. (Null Hypothesis). Misbehaved children/ adolescent’s behavior stem from their
environment /demographic background. (Alternative hypothesis)
