adherence to recommendations on nutritional intake?

ARTICLE SEARCH (article one) Tell us how you found the article that you

articles did you find? How did you narrow the search and how did you select the
article that you selected? The search strategy is for the article you found on the
chamberlain library only
Article findings; one paragraph on the first article and one paragraph on the
second article.
Important findings: who was studied and how they studied them, qualitative,
quantitative, who the population was, what tool did they use to study the patients
and what was there important findings and results of the study.
Evidence for Practice: how will the studies that you read improve nursing practice
at the bed side. How will this evidence decrease a gap in practice? Justify how
these articles are improving a problem of practice.
Concerns or weaknesses located in the evidence? Was it a small population that
they studied? Was it a convenient sample? Was the tool not a good tool to use to
study these patients? Did they use quantitative research when they should have
used qualitative research? N/B that there is always limitations to research, so
you must have concerns.
Look for the segment of the articles that says limitations, that is where you will
find the concerns mostly.
Sharing of evidence: who would you share this evidence with? Or how would you
share this evidence? Through powerpoints, brochure, community meetings, health
fair, patients or workers?
What resources would you need to share this evidence? Do you need a community
space to do a community meeting, do you need a projector to do a power point
presentation? For nurses that you will educate? Why is it important to share this
evidence relating that to your introduction and your articles.
Remember that every paragraph need to have at least three sentences.
Use level one headers. Don’t use level one header for your introduction. Title of
your article repeats at the page two centered. Don’t use a header called
introduction. First level one header should be ARTICLE SEARCH followed by
others…
Avoid direct quotes and paraphrase. Conclusion; a reasonable conclusion relating
to your paper.
