Please select an issue/case/topic and prepare a five minute presentation.

Please ensure the presentation falls within the parameters of issues/topics covered by the course.

The course is Taxation of Business. If in doubt about a suitable topic, consult the syllabus and/or ask me. I have posted a list of topics as examples of topics you may want to select.

The slide deck presentation should be in the form of a Power Point presentation.You should prepare the slide deck as if you were going to present to a client. Remember the slides should provide bullet points and your notes will provide the amplification of the details and authorities [e.g. IRC, Treasury Regulations, case(s)]. Your notes should be your planned speech to accompany the slide deck. Please do not include your notes in the slide deck – it should be a separate document. As a guide for the length of the notes/speech, you should have approximately 650 words in your speech document. This is not a group assignment. Each person will prepare their own set of slides and notes for the presentation. Your assignment will be checked for plagiarism.
