ENC 1101 Technology CyberSecurity Myths vs Facts Blog Post Paper BLOG: Myth vs. Fact

Myth vs. Facts are really fun to make. Have you ever gotten frustrated correcting a newbie in your field of interest? And they fall over, and over, and over again for the same false beliefs. You can do something about it! Create a fun post of the most common myths you hear in your blog topic and correct them with the facts. Shoot for at least 5 myths.

First write a one-sentence myth and put it in bold. Under it, write one to two paragraphs stating the truth. For example, in writing about Home Life, one of the myths I might write about is this: If my spouse really loves me, he/she will be willing to change. Another myth: My friends know me, so they are the best place to get marriage advice.

You can use personal experience for your facts, or do some light research. Just be sure to cite your source(s) and paraphrase as best you can what you read. For the first myth, I might counter the myth with ” According to ’10 Modern Myths about Marriage’ at http://www.patheos.com/blogs/davewillis/10-modern-myths-marriage/ (Links to an external site.) it is true that love brings out the best in us, but, honestly, it doesn’t change who we are . . .”
