Michigan State University Diversity and Inclusion Training Discussion Taining evaluations are important to determine if the selected training solution was effective and provided the appropriate return on investment.
Discuss as a team the last training program you attended (at work, school, other). Select one of your team members’ experiences. Your task will be to design a training evaluation process for this training program. (Diversity and inclusion training)
Write a 200 word recommendation to your boss. (Imagine your boss has said “I’m not going to approve funding for this training unless you can tell me up front how you are going to evaluate it.”}
Start by briefly (a few sentences) describing the training program, e.g. one day classroom customer service training for call center agents.
Provide an explanation of how you propose to evaluate the training program on each of these four outcome levels:
-organization results
For each level, include what you are specifically measuring, the time frame, a description of the evaluation process, and how the data will be analyzed and reported .
Identify at least one risk (threat to validity) in the evaluation process and discuss how it will be mitigated.
Create a one-page Reaction (Level 1) training evaluation survey.
