At start of course, it described the external environment’s impact on the nature and character of a firm. Specifically, the course discussed change in the environment. How it can create a need for a firm to change (PESTEL focused on design). Some firms can be more affected by external environments than others – factors contributing to whether or not a firm will be more or less affected can be related through the PESTEL analysis. Consider conditions around the relevance to hospitality, provide an impact to reflect on the course construct:
