We will look at the systems development life cycle with a greater level of detail than we have previously considered. This will lead us to examine the impact of this cycle on the development, integration, and application of administrative information systems. This, in turn, will lead us to muse on the trends and developments in the way humans and technology interface.
Simultaneously, we will enhance our exploration of this topic, by considering the possible ethical issues, dilemmas, and concerns these technological developments and human situations raise for management and leaders. This includes, of course, the somewhat tricky domain of working with/relying on vendors for components of these critical systems.
