This is not a group assignment. This is an individual assignment in which each group member is expected to individually complete the search for nursing research articles and individually complete their part of the group matrix assignment in Module 4, and complete this article critique.

Complete a comprehensive critique using the worksheet that will be provided.
In a substantive manner, using scholarly tone and correct grammar, address each of the components of the critique. Your responses should demonstrate thought and critical appraisal. Although you will note that some of the questions could be answered with a Yes/No response, you are expected to offer your thoughts in full and complete sentences.
Upon receiving feedback on this assignment, you will synthesize your critique and with your group partners proceed to the Evidence-based Practice Paper and Project.

Criteria for Success:

This assignment will be evaluated using the assignment rubric. Note that there are two rubrics for this assignment as the rubrics are based on the type of article (quantitative or qualitative) you have selected to critique.

Please note: An important component of nursing practice is the ability to read and follow the policies, procedures and provider’s orders. Therefore, a component on which you will be evaluated to earn your grade is your ability to follow assignment instructions.
