I’m trying to learn for my Psychology class and I’m stuck. Can you help?

There is a lot to talk about on the topic of groups. Sometimes working with others can help us improve and sometimes we slack off. For this week’s discussion board, we’ll apply material on groups to the academic context and consider group projects.

• When professors assign group work, students often groan because they anticipate challenges working together.
• Identify at least two concepts from the chapter that can help explain why group work can be trying and offer a solution for how an assignment could be structured to avoid these pitfalls.
