Background
You are the Compensation Analyst for Alpine Valley Skis. Your company manufactures skis that are sold at various retail stores throughout the United States.
You have five (5) full-time employees who work on the production line fabricating skis. As a way to incentivize them to be more productive the company has initiated an Incentive Plan.
The incentive plan is based on producing high quality skis that pass all safety and quality tests on a weekly basis. The payouts vary per person based on the amount of quality skis they produce each week.
