1. Choose from one of these art forms covered in Chapters 5 and 6:

2. Choose at least one textbook example from the list above as a jumping off point for your research. Try to find scholarly articles
and/or videos about the art form or architecture that you choose. In your research, you are looking for similar art works or architecture
to that in our textbook, but not the same – you are trying to find new works and new information. Try to find at least three (3) new art
works or buildings to discuss in your essay.
3. Write your essay about the new artworks or buildings that you discovered. Your essay should include:
An introduction: One paragraph in which you should state which art form you chose, briefly describe it (materials, process, etc.) and
why you chose it.
Body: at least three paragraphs describing the three new artworks or buildings you found in your research (please include artist if
known, title or description, materials, date if known, and current location). How are they similar/different from the textbook
examples? What new information about your works did you discover?
. Conclusion: One paragraph in which you should state what appealed to you about the artworks or buildings that you found (why
did you choose them?).
· Images: Include an image for each of your three found works in your submission.
Citations: must be in the correct format, at least three (3) sources (scholarly articles and/or videos, please). Please use the Chicago
