Summary Paragraph
Germany is considered to be the strongest and the closest ally of the US in the entire
continent of Europe in terms of trade. The relationship between the two countries has been
strengthened by their friendship, trading partnership, as well as the alliance involving sharing
common institutions. The relationship between the two countries has was evidenced from the
18th century, and it has been continuing to be strengthened by their involvement in trade aspects.
The US imports several goods and products from Germany, where some of the imported goods
include machinery, vehicles, pharmaceutical products, and medical apparatus. Besides, Germany
receives several goods from the US, where some of them include passenger cars, pharmaceutical
equipment, engines, and civilian aircraft. These countries have supported one another by
providing each other with the commodities that they lack. Over the past decade, According to
research, Germany has significantly assisted the US to raise its revenue since the US considered
Germany as one of its top consumers. Among the products that the US has been exporting to
Germany, oil appears to be the product that has the most negative impact on the country. This is
because Germany has several industries and motor vehicles that use oil from the US. Since oil is
one of the fossil fuel products, it is considered to have an adverse effect on the environment
through pollution (Achtnicht, 2012). However, Germany still allows the import of the product
from the US. This implies that the trade between Germany and the US will go far in the future
despite the type of products traded between the two countries.
