Patient GDPatient GD is a newborn male, born to 38 year old mother by normal delivery. The pregnancy was uneventful until week 30 of gestation when growth retardation was noticed.  The infant birth weight was 1480 g, birth length was 42 cm, and head circumference was 32 cm. Patient GD had clenched fists with overlapping fingers. Investigation for the presence of genetic disorder was carried out. Thus, blood was obtained from patient GD for chromosomal studies
