The professor uses an X-ray machine to project an X-ray with a wavelength of 1.38 × 10-11 m at a thin metal sample. The professor finds that the scattered X-rays have a wavelength of             1.54 × 10-11 m.a) Determine the angle at which the X-rays scatter.b) Determine the velocity of the ejected electrons (speed and direction), assuming that they start at rest (Ignore any relativistic effects.) Vector diagrams need to be drawn for full marks.Hint: Use conservation of momentum and remember to use the formula for the momentum of an x-ray. You will need to break the momentum up into its x and y components to determine the velocity of the electron.
