Option #1: Covid and Misinformation. The coronavirus still rages on as covid cases are once again surging throughout the country. A large majority of the delta-variant cases infect those who are not vaccinated. Many people still resist getting the vaccine. Most people, including those in the scientific/health care community, believe that there is simply too much misinformation on the internet, and that is why numbers are surging. If you are in favor of the vaccine, what should we do to persuade people to get vaccinated? The data are there, and the stories of covid-related suffering and death are many. As a society, how should we deal will all this misinformation? If you are against the vaccine, you may articulate your argument as well. However, you must remember that the immensity of the data favors and supports the legitmacy and efficacy of the vaccine. So, beware. If you fail to substantiate your argument, your thesis, with any sound evidence, then your essay will not be effective. You must include at least one of the articles below as part of your research.
