For this assignment, you will write a one-page press release for a real or madeup event or announcement. If you are volunteering for an organization, this is a great opportunity to create a press release for an upcoming event. You should review the sample press releases referenced in your textbook on pp. 85 & 86. Pay careful attention to the structure of your press releases and the succinct manner in which they are written. Try to avoid long, convoluted sentences.
This assignment is due Sunday, March 8 at 11:59 p.m., and it is worth 25 points towards your final grade.
