The Paper

The paper is the culmination of what you have learned in the class through discussions, presentations, and all the feedback you will have accumulated. It is worth 40% of your final grade.

Paper Style

• The paper must use footnote citations.
• Citations must follow the Chicago Manual of Style format.
• The font for the paper should be Calibri 11 point.
• The paper must be double-spaced and must have page numbers.
• Paper must be handed in as a hard copy.

Failure to follow these style rules will lead to a 5% deduction for each infraction.

Paper Sections

Each section of the paper is due on the date marked in this syllabus. Each section will be graded for completion of required aspects of the section. Because the EOD has less sections, the sections are weighted differently than the Capstone sections. MA students will be graded on each section on a 1-10 scale, with a 10 indicating a very good section and a 1 indicating a very poor section. A 0 will be assigned to sections that are not turned in within a week of the deadline. MAP students will be graded on each section on a 1-5 scale. Any student will lose a point for each day the section is late.
