please post about something you’ve noticed/been made aware of regarding your own pronunciation of certain words—or some vowels or consonants that you seem to produce (or not produce) that some other English speakers do (or do not). That is, what have you noticed about your own speech that is different from other varieties of English? This may make you think a bit about the issue of “prescriptive rules” , but focus here on aspects of your speech (phonetics) (i.e. aspects of pronunciation rather than grammar).
