Nurses are going to have a critical role in the future of health care in our country
Synthesis Assignment
Nurses are going to have a critical role in the future of health care in our country. In light of this, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Institutes of Medicine developed recommendations to improve health care. After reading the IOM reports for nursing, and vision of Nursing Agenda for the Future, consider the following questions:
1. Why were these reports developed?
2. What are the implications of these reports on nursing-today and in the future?
3. What is your professional responsibility as nurse to support these recommendations?
4. How do you think these reports and other health care reform efforts will impact your practice?
Using all elements of universal standards of reasoning: clarity and precision, accuracy, relevance, depth, breadth, and logic develop a 3-5 page paper answering the above questions. Be sure to use APA 6th edition for formatting and support your ideas with the appropriate referencing
