Addressing Climate Change: What Can We Do?
After going through all of the materials for this week please prepare an approximately four-page (double spaced)
paper with a cover page (not included in the length) that addresses how we can mitigate and reduce the effects of
climate change. In your paper be sure to discuss:
Mitigation and geoengineering strategies for addressing climate change at the global scale.
Provide at least five different strategies and explain how they work, their anticipated costs (environmental and
monetary), and their likelihood of being successful.
Finally, comment on your personal opinions regarding them.
Include at least two relevant figures, however, they do not count to the page length. Be sure to cite any figures that
you use and include a caption with them.
Be sure to cite in-text and in a references list all resources used to help you with this essay in APA format

Discuss Mitigation and Geoengineering
Climate change mitigation and geoengineering are explained as to what they are and how they may
help to reduce the effects of climate change. At least five examples of mitigation techniques and/or
geoengineering methods are explained in detail in terms of how they work, their likelihood to succeed,
and their monetary and environmental costs.

At least two relevant figures associated with climate change mitigation and/or geoengineering are
provided that enhance the paper. Figures have a caption, are mentioned using in-text citations, and
are cited (unless you make them).
