Paper Prompt
For this paper, you are free to conceive your own project.
You might view your next move as an extension of the
ideas you developed in the previous project. Or, perhaps
you want to try a new direction. In either case, the project
has two parts:
1.
This is a proposal of no more than 200 words in which
you describe the paper you intend to write and point
to at least one passage from the novel that seems
important to your thinking. You have vast freedom to
choose any passage, but be certain you find one that
will help you make your argument.
2. The paper itself places you in an academic
conversation with the novel, one text responding to
another text. This paper will be different only to the
extent you are using a specific passage from
Frankenstein to anchor, or perhaps only to support,
your larger argument.
Part 1 is due in the Assignment Box on Wednesday, April
17th at 5pm.
Part 2 is due in the Assignment Box on Monday, April 22nd
at 5 pm.
