Management Team Plan and Finding Gaps in The Marketplace Assignment Each student will select a potential startup business or new business development in an existing organization for which you will develop a business model canvas and segments of a business plan.
You might choose one of the three ways to identify opportunities highlighted in Chapter 2 in order to select your business: observing trends, solving a problem, or finding gaps in the marketplace.
When selecting your preferred idea for a business, consider that you will want quantitative information about its industry in order to complete your Industry and Market Analyses. Availability of data enabling you to estimate industry size, industry growth rate, and the new venture’s expected annual revenues using one of the four methods in Table 6.3 on page 196 will be valuable.
Page 193 in Chapter 6 provide valuable guidance to write your Company Description. You will explain where the idea for the company came from and why it is personally meaningful to you.

here are some my opinion MVP for my new venture will be allowing parents and kids to experience the service we provide. For example, they can taste the food we provide in the childcare to let them know that everything is organic. The parents can also bring their children to our open house to experience the overall environment of the childcare. They can take a look at the toy books and play toys. The parents can look around to decide if this will be a proper environment for their kids.
We will record the information of whoever who attends our open house. For instance, we will record information such as their contact information, their working hours during the week and the age of their kids. After they experienced our open house, we will collect feedback by conducting some surveys through email. In these surveys, we will ask how were their experience during the open house, if they will bring their kids here in the future, what they think can be improved.
