The writer completed the initial post (please go by similar instructions as far as citing, formatting, and reducing opinionated statements not backed by evidence). This time the writer will play “devil’s advocate” and offer an argument counter to that of two (2) postings from classmates. That is, if they support public shame, argue why it wouldn’t or shouldn’t be used and vice versa (back with supporting facts and evidence from scholarly peer reviewed arguments). Also the writer may incorporate relevent evidence from the readings for this week from ch.4 and 5 along with the scholarly articles. There are no “right” and “wrong” positions; Just strong and weak arguments in support of one instead of another. Simply reply to the original posting.
You are required to conduct some research and cite a scholarly source in your answer (either providing a direct quote or paraphrasing something from that scholarly source and citing it correctly). Should you fail to use and properly cite scholarly sources in follow-up posts, you will fail the assignment.
All postings must be original. You are welcome to direct your reader to a previous posting to substantiate a point you are making; however, you cannot just duplicate what you wrote in response to another student. No cutting and pasting across postings.
Before completing this assignment. BE SURE TO READ THE BIG DO’S AND DON’TS OF DISCUSSION POSTS. This will be part of the critieria in grading your post along with answering the question. (I will upload this document of the 2 post for the writer) Please read carefully. All postings must be original. The postings will be evaluated according to originality, completeness, and adherence to graduate school quality standards. Any comments made without factual evidence is considered PLAGARISM. Remember, I don’t want your opinion. I want your judgment. Make a claim, then offer credible research (properly cited) to support it. Otherwise, you are talking off the top of your head in violation of Big Four Don’ts
